Wiper blades are an important safety feature that should be changed every 6-12 months. Are Your Wipers Showing Signs of Wear?
You can quickly and easily check the condition of your wiper blades by running your finger along the rubber edge to see if it’s become rigid or chipped. Harsh conditions, such as direct sunlight, can cause the rubber to break down over time and should be replaced to ensure a clean, smooth swipe. Other signs of wiper wear are a cloudy film on your windshield (caused by dirt, oil or grime accumulation), or rubber that has pulled away from the wiper frame.
